Job description:

The Assistant Treasurer will be responsible for managing day-to-day treasury functions for the Company and its subsidiaries. Responsible for cash management including: initiatives supporting new services and products, banking relationships and daily treasury operations including wire and ACH transaction process. Creates and maintains treasury policies, provides continuous oversight of corporate treasury operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Daily Functions:

Manage the company’s daily cash position
Make wires to major vendors
Review and release ACH payment transactions
Manage cash transfers for the company’s prepaid Visa products
Manage debt and capital leasing programs
Prepare internal and external cash reporting
Assist in creation and implementation of operational controls, policies, procedures, and standards
Manage favorable banking relationships, eliminate and open bank accounts as necessary
Manage capital market risks including interest rate exposures
Prepare and maintain rolling estimate of cash needs
Manage transfer of funds into and out of company accounts
Identify cost savings and opportunities for profit optimization
Monitor information systems for proper functioning of automated treasury operations
Negotiate and perform oversight of hedging activities for foreign currency transactions

Monthly Functions:

Make sure all cash transfers are entered by the assigned month end cut-off.
Manage the cash management sub-ledger of our financial system.
Prepare monthly and annual cash forecast reports.

Job requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, Master’s degree a plus
Minimum of 5 to 10 years relevant experience
CTP preferred, CPA a plus
MS OFFICE applications including MS Excel.
Foreign currency hedging and transaction experience preferred
Financial services experience a plus
