POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Senior Financial Analyst is key developmental and leadership role. This opportunity provides ownership and responsibility for the accomplishment of divisional goals and Finance function objectives through close relationship and support of internal Customers (Business Partners) including the Division Management Board, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Materials Management Cost Accounting and Corporate Finance. The role includes responsibility for monthly financial accounting close and reporting, Sales Department liaison, Sarbanes Oxley compliance and testing and performance metric reporting and analysis.

 

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Provides accounting support for assigned departments.
- Leads monthly Budget Reviews with departmental managers, conducts variance analysis and review,  prepares financial statements, and conducts all adhoc tasks as assigned.
- Leads monthly spending reviews with departments and anticipates future spending.
- Provides detailed analysis for departmental spending at the request of management.

• Performs Month End duties necessary for closing the books.
- Provides detailed explanations and analyses on departmental spending.
- Books necessary Journal Entries/Accruals.
- Performs balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts.

• Provides support for the general accounting process.
- Administration of and compliance to corporate and divisional policies and procedures.
- Participates in assigned Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts.
- Assist in coordination of year-end closing for Annual Report, 10-k, and Tax Package.

• Exposure to Manufacturing
