Job Description:

Publicly traded company has an immediate need for a tax accountant for their local tax department. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, and be able to quickly learn within a complex tax environment.

    * Preparation and review of federal income tax returns
    * Preparation and review of tax provisions
    * Preparation of necessary footnotes for the filing of financial statements
    * Provide necessary information to other departments as necessary
    * Research various federal tax issues
    * Assist with IRS audits

REQUIREMENTS

    * 1-5 years federal corporate tax compliance
    * Big 4 or large company tax department experience
    * Bachelor's degree in accounting required

    * Masters degree and FAS 109 experience would be ideal, but is not required
