Facilities Engineer Needed for Disaster Recovery (DR) Co-Location Redesign and Implementation! 

Excellent full-time opportunity for a stellar Data Center Facilities Engineer. Our client will look to your facilities background to manage and implement the redesign of a Disaster Recovery (DR) co-location facility. You will provide buildouts for power and low voltage designs, troubleshoot power related and networking issues along with hardware installations, inventory and document add/moves/changes. The right candidate will have a good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center environment. Environment includes feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, chillers, air handling units and CRAC units. Candidate must have previous management and project management experience and a willingness to be on call in case of emergencies for off hour issues.

Required Experience

• Data Center Facilities experience


• Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in use in a data center environment including feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, chillers, air handling units, and CRAC units


• Ability to learn quickly, work autonomously, and address any issues that arise day-or-night


• Willingness to provide on call support in case of emergencies or other off-hours issues at the facility
