Job Description:Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Solicits, develops, and services a wide variety of commercial, real estate and/or SBA loans and lines of credit.
May by responsible for loans to include real estate investments, income property, development and construction loans.
May be responsible for generating SBA loans by proactively calling, developing and maintaining internal/external relationships
Provides subordinate officers with functional guidance.
Directs credit departments or junior officer’s analysis of applicant’s financial data to evaluate credit worthiness.
Makes decisions on loans within limits or makes recommendations.
Monitors outstanding loans.
Participates with Sr. Officers on larger loans and lines of credit.
Provides financial advice to customers. Usually handles all but the most complex types of loans.
Ability to sell banking products and build relationships.
Provides customer service to commercial customers
Represents Synovus within the community.
Typically responsible for loan portfolios $50MM to $100MM
May supervise
Scope of position will vary based on the incumbents area of emphasis on types of lending.
May be responsible for sourcing and developing prospects and new clients and selling various bank products/services. These services can include Commercial Loan products, Real Estate products, SBA products/services, International banking products/services and Leasing products/services.
Responsible for bank deposit growth.
