ob Summary: The Mortgage Closer position will schedule loan closings and prepare all closing documents, as well as review approved mortgage loans to determine required conditions. Candidate will verify accuracy and consistency of specifications on documents. Will coordinate the collection of specified documents to ensure the loan closing meeting runs efficiently. The candidate will issue the appropriate funds to be disbursed at closing and records required loan information into mortgage data system. The candidate should possess an expert knowledge of residential real estate lending products, regulatory compliance and creditor financial analysis techniques. This position will also review title insurance and coordinates with the closing attorney.

Job Qualifications: Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required. This position requires 2 years experience with closing convential first mortgage loans. Must have the ability to work in fast paced environment to meet scheduled closing dates with members. Must possess strong communication skills. Has a good understanding of residential lending closing policies, procedures and practices. Applies knowledge of credit union systems, policies, and procedures. Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations. Must be performing satisfactorily in current position. Must have experience in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Word.
