Duties and Qualifications

Assist in and support all aspects of Branch Management. As a member of the sales team, drive branch sales results through direction, leadership and execution of desired behaviors and activities by branch staff and contribute through individual sales and relationship management. Provide on-going coaching to other branch team members to ensure consistent delivery of superior customer service; compliance with all operational procedures and risk management policies and effective execution of the Branch Operating Model. Act as 'manager on duty' in Branch Manager's absence. May function in the capacity of an FSR or Teller depending on daily branch needs. Asst Branch Managers at in In-Store locations are responsible for sales and service to include in-store prospecting, and assisting clients on platform and teller transactions, and to develop and maintain mutually beneficial communication with the host store management team and host store associates. Licensed Assistant Branch Managers hold an insurance license and may also have variable annuity Series 6 and 63. Branch demonstrates an environment where the mix of operational risk and complexity is moderate/low and sales opportunity and complexity is moderate/high. (Tier 3). Branch activity and sales levels propose median platform and teller span of control
- Goals reflect a significant rise in acquisition and growth opportunities based on market demographics. Including small business prospects.
- Operational risk is driven by less complex transactions but a variety of transaction levels.

Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. 2 years sales experience with supervisory experience. Demonstrate a strong sales and service orientation with the ability to coach and lead a team to grow the business and effectively serve the customer.
Preferred Requirements: College level course work. 2 years financial sales experience and/or 1 year experience as an Asst Branch Manager in the financial services industry. Demonstrated operational, compliance and retail product experience. Hold and insurance license and may also have a variable annuity Series 6 and 63.
