Business Consultant - Oracle Superuser -- $90-100K
Business Consultant - Oracle Superuser Fixed Assets position will have the following responsibilities:
Member of the Oracle 11i Financial Systems team, specifically working with Fixed Assets and the integration with AP, PO, PA, and GL.
Focus will be working with Accounting and internal departments including Network, Supply Chain, Information Technology and other Operations groups.
Major functions will include development and delivery of business requirements, testing, procedures, training, and reporting.
Daily/weekly/monthly functions will include:
Processing EOM close, including system Depreciation, interfaces, mass additions, uploads for adjustments and retirements, maintaining FA module setups and maintenance including asset categories, calendars and periods, retirement types, location information.
This position will also serve as an internal consultant/liaison to identify and analyze issues; define strategies, standards, and procedures; and implement solutions/enhancements with Business, Information Technology and Oracle.
Required Background:
Bachelors Degree, 5-7 years of related experience required.
Accounting, Finance or Information Systems Degree, MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Accounting Experience:
Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and/ or Purchasing including month end close processing.
- Balance Sheet and P & L reporting highly desirable.
- Demonstrated competency in complex accounting transactions including clearing accounts and reconciliation.
Technical Experience:
Oracle 11i and/or 10.7 Financials including Fixed Assets module.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word.
- SQL, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Tudor, and Microsoft Access highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptable, flexible, and exhibits strong analytical skills.
- Proven issue resolution and problem solving skills.
