JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will be responsible for setting and adhering to schedules, defining scope, estimating time and effort and tracking scheduled deliverables from various departments within the organization. This person will have responsibility for managing customer implementations of Fidelity's Mobile product. Responsibilities include: Managing Financial Institution contracts that could include, but not limited to cross-department sales, middle tier clients and new products. Assignments are of a standard nature using general financial and technical experience.
The Project Manager will follow defined processes and procedures in order to meet client expectations and department goals, but is expected to make innovative suggestions to improve processes and customer satisfaction. Qualified candidate must have excellent communication skills and be capable of communicating verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization; with external customers, sales teams and internal technical, product and development staff. Qualified candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology or equivalent work experience and 2 years project management experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project is a must.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Produce detailed project plans utilizing Microsoft Project as well as other project tools & techniques used to successfully manage projects
* Manage multiple projects and successfully deliver on high priority projects
* Coordinate with cross functional project teams, schedule, install, test and deliver contracted products within scheduled timeline and with a high degree of quality and customer satisfaction
* Establish and maintain strong, effective working relationships with clients and coworkers
* Lead/participate in meetings with customers and internal project resources
* Provide continuous feedback on project status and offer constructive options to ensure project continues to meet original expectations
* Identify resources and/or schedule conflicts and changing of project scope
* Communicate identification and resolution of business/project issues, as well as the monitoring, tracking and reporting on project deliverables to ensure adherence to project plan.
* Function as an escalation point to keep all parties aware of overall project impact in order to facilitate management decisions at the earliest possible time.
* Attend scheduled training sessions that pertain to Fidelity products and services
* Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* Minimum 2 years of Project Management and/or Software Implementation experience
* Minimum 2 years experience in banking, financial services or mobile banking
* Minimum 2 years experience in interacting with external customers
* Excellent communication and organization skills
* Must be able to manage several projects at the same time with minimal supervision and adapt to changes in client needs
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Must be detail oriented and self-motivated
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
