Position Description
Manhattan Associates is seeking a Sr. Consultant to join our Professional Services Organization. As a Sr. Consultant you will be the Customer’s primary point of contact throughout the implementation of one or more of our supply chain solutions software packages. The Senior Consultant takes the lead through the following stages of implementation: solution design, system configuration, testing, training, and troubleshooting/issues resolution. Supports implementation and ensures client satisfaction and referenceability for our customers from a broad range of industries, including consumer goods, food, government, high-tech/electronics, industrial/wholesale, life sciences, logistics service providers and retail.
Position Responsibilities: • Works directly with the customer project team (primarily onsite) during analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, and implementation. • Performs detailed integration design for Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment applications; leads interface testing, issue resolution, and acceptance with limited direction. • Generates interface mapping documents, modification specifications, interface test scripts, Gap documents, enhancement requests with minimal direction; Leads integration testing and modification delivery activities. • Has a clear sense of ownership for all assigned tasks to deliver on-time, on-budget, with quality. • Effectively articulates technical concepts to client audiences; relates technical concepts to client operations. • Actively monitors work against project plan and participates in status meetings with both project team and client. • Prepares and delivers internal and external technical presentations. • Provide work estimates for assigned tasks and custom development work. • Proactively troubleshoots and resolves issues that arise during implementation. • Executes and contributes to Manhattan Associates Implementation and Custom Development Methodologies. • Actively seeks out opportunities. • Actively shares information and teaches others; coaches team members to achieve higher performance. • Responsible for development, unit test, and delivery of custom enhancements.
Position Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Logistics or related degree. • 3-5+ years consulting experience with packaged software implementations, including a minimum of 2 years experience implementing supply chain or inventory management software • Exceptional written and oral communication skills; strong presentation skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people. • Extensive software trouble-shooting skills. • Self-motivated, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Experience with Microsoft Office Tools. • Average travel 75%-100% • Position based out of Atlanta, GA office (headquarters)
