TRAINER - HAZARD OPERATIONS - DULUTH CALL CENTER

As a Trainer in our Hazard Operations call center facility, you will be responsible for administering, organizing, and conducting training and educational programs for employee skill-based training, management training, and client training. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining records of training activities, employee/client progress, monitoring effectiveness of programs, ordering supplies and budgetary compliance within the department. 

 


  • Identify training needs and opportunities to improve the performance of both new hires and existing staff, including training needs within specific areas and consults with management.

  • Develop, present, and evaluate training programs and initiatives, as well as develop performance improvement plans and provide coaching and feedback to learners as appropriate.

  • Organizes and conducts stand-up training and educational programs for employee skill-based training, management training, and client training.

  • Arranges and coordinates training courses and advises employees and management on appropriate training courses providing consultation when necessary.

  • Supervises the maintenance of training activity records, employee/client progress, and overall effectiveness of training programs, costs and budgetary control.

  • Understanding of adult learning principles with ability to effectively facilitate training sessions, and adapt training sessions to serve the needs all trainees.





Qualifications




  • 2-4 years of professional training experience, including technical and soft-skills training.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience

  • Strong interpersonal relations skills, including the ability to provide coaching and feedback to trainees, are essential. The ability to be flexible and the willingness to adapt to departmental needs are also essential.

  • Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of training. Strong knowledge of the development and delivery of training programs and materials. The incumbent should have an understanding of adult learning principles, be able to effectively facilitate training sessions, and be able to adapt training sessions to serve the needs of the trainees.

  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

  • Strong interpersonal relations skills, including the ability to provide coaching and feedback to trainees, are essential.

  • Knowledge of Fidelity, TrackAll and Quest preferred; or, other industry tracking system.

  • Ability to adapt easily as procedure/client needs change.

  • Experience using the Robohelp application is a plus. Must be PC literate and have a basic knowledge working in a Windows environment. MS Office testing required (MS Word, Excel and Power Point).
