Business Development Manager

Need
Parsons is seeking a Business/Client Development Manager for the southeast. The chosen candidate will report to the Vice President of Business Development. This position will be responsible for developing and further expanding the business market for the water and wastewater sector. Will develop relationships with new and existing clients that will lead to new business, creating strategies to achieve new business, and build strong partnerships. Will also be a lead in project pursuit and customer satisfaction efforts from early opportunity identifications and client cultivation to proposal preparation, contract execution, and project completion. The successful candidate must be commercially aware (with an extensive list of contacts within the market) and also possess significant technical experience within the water and/or wastewater sector.
Requirements
15 years minimum professional experience with a proven track record of success in
A proven track record of success in bringing in new major sales of $2M and up on an annual basis, as well as growing existing business contracts.
Worked in either a Program Manager or senior business development role in the water/wastewater engineering/construction field.
Familiarity with the development of schedules and budgets, value engineering, general means and methods, design-build method of delivery, and industry standard forms of contractual agreements.
Extensive experience in public speaking, writing, media, public outreach.
4-year Degree in engineering, communications, business or related fields.
