Posting Job Description	Qualifications: Applicants must have at least one year of news writing experience. Ability to handle heavy script load while assisting the Newsource Assignment Coordinators. Producing and copy-editing experience helpful. Affiliate station experience is a plus, but not mandatory. Excellent customer service skills are a must. Knowledge of the iNews computer system and the Internet is helpful. Duties: A Newsource Writer is responsible for writing scripts (including lead-ins, vo's, tags, etc) for distribution to more than 800 domestic and more than 200 international Newsource affiliates. Attention to complete, accurate, and timely scripts is paramount. Requires special attention to affiliate embargoes and sourcing. Occasional opportunities to copy-edit and/or package produce may exist. This position requires interaction with affiliates as well as other departments. Occasional encoding of video is necessary.
