We are seeking an experienced, senior level Contract Administrator based in our corporate office in Atlanta, GA. This position will be a direct report to the CFO and will have daily interface with our clients, prospects, internal management and our sales team.
Experience in the following areas is required:
· In-depth knowledge of general and corporate business practices, including SOX procedures;
· Commercial, and international contracting regulations and principles;
· Negotiation of standard and non-standard contracts;
· General accounting and finance principles.
Our ideal candidate must have great communication and interpersonal skills, be a great writer, be comfortable at the executive level and understand the broader impact of the contract process and administrative implications on our company. You should also be able to resolve complex contracts and pricing issues and have exceptional math and analytical skills.
If you are the right person, you will:
· Oversee the administration of all company contracts;
· Handle contract extensions and amendments;
· Handle negotiation and terminations of standard and nonstandard contracts
· Manage contract renewals;
· Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonableness of prices;
· Evaluate or monitor contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts and compliance to contractual obligations;
· Review agreements or proposed agreements for conformity to company rates, rules, and regulations; and
· Analyze contracts and confer with various department heads to detect ambiguities, inaccurate statements, omissions of essential terms, and conflicts with possible legal prohibitions.
· Provide general administrative support to the Executive team, as requested or assigned.
Requirements:
· College degree in Business, Finance or Law
· 5-10 years experience in increasingly more complex contract environments
