Investigate, evaluate, reserve, negotiate and settle assigned claims in accordance with Best Practices. Provide quality claim handling and superior customer service on assigned claims, while engaging in indemnity & expense management. Promptly manage claims by completing essential functions including contacts, investigation, damages development, evaluation, reserving, litigation management, and disposition. Responsibilities and Duties: Handle minor to moderately complex property damage cases Handle Commercial and/or Personal lines claims. Strong focus on quality and speed of resolution of all claims. Partnership with business partners. Establish and maintain appropriate claim and expense reserves. Provide quality customer service. Strong investigative skills and be able to develop good work relationship with the business partners. Ability to write accurate Xactimate estimates. Good decision making and problem solving skills. Knowledge of claim workflow. Self-motivated, take-charge attitude, teamwork oriented. Virtual office location ¿ requires ability to work from home Independent worker/self-starter & ability to work with moderate supervision. This position requires either the use of a company car or 6,000+ reimbursable miles.
