Job Description:

Overview:

This position performs warehouse/material distribution tasks relative to the receiving and shipment of product. Moves inventory by operating a forklift.

Essential Job Functions:

Ensures all assigned duties are safely completed in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and by following department procedures.
Unloads inbound trucks (inter-company deliveries, vendors, etc.)
Loads outbound trucks (inter-company shipments, off-site warehouse, etc.)
Processes customer orders to include: pulling orders, packaging orders, checking or verifying orders, stenciling and preparing packing slips, bills of lading, and operating manifest systems.
Locates and retrieves products.
Maintains FIFO inventory
Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in GMPs
Operates material handling equipment
Stocks picking locations
Conducts cycle counting

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Experienced in the safe operation of material handling equipment

Education and/or Experience:

High School education or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands:

Employee may be required to sit, bend, stoop, use keyboard, see, talk, hear, and walk and stand on concrete surface for extended periods. May occasionally lift objects up to 75 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Work Environment:

Warehouse environment (hot in the summer and cold in the winter). Noisy environment due to material handling equipment and building machines, fans, etc.
