We are currently seeking a Director of Operations Planning for our Atlanta corporate Headquarters.  The Directors of Operations Planning reports directly to the Vice President, Strategic Planning

Responsibilities:

 


Responsibilities:



  • Manage all aspects related to the development and rollout of a production control and scheduling system to CCC's manufacturing facilities.

    • System development at pilot plants

    • Development of a rollout plan

    • Identification, recruitment and training of project resources

    • Interface with other CCC resources and departments that support the system rollout such as IS, quality, engineering and manufacturing.

    • Implementation of the system at each plant and training of plant personnel.

    • Manage the project budget.

    • Provide regular updates to leadership.

    • Maintain open issues and manage open issues.

    • Serve as liaison between CCC and software vendors.



  • Identify, recruit, develop and lead CCC's corporate operations planning team.

  • Establish and develop the supply chain management function and processes at CCC.

  • Develop processes and systems to support and maximize the use of the production control and scheduling system in the field.

  • Integrate the production control and scheduling system with other CCC systems and/or processes

  • Develop and/or support future tools and systems to enhance CCC's operations and production planning capabilities.




Qualifications:


Requirements:



  • Bachelors Degree in operations management or engineering.  MBA a plus.

  • 7+ years of experience in areas of production scheduling, supply chain management, and/or manufacturing management.

  • Strong production scheduling skills.

  • Proven experience with the development, implementation and management of planning and scheduling software.  Experience with Kiwiplan PCS, Automatic Scheduling and QMS preferred.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills.

  • Background in manufacturing or business consulting in a manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to move comfortably from a senior management to shop floor audience.

  • Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork and cross-functional projects.

  • Ability to travel 75%.
