Position
Located on Site with Client in Atlanta GA. Looking for a seasoned Print/DM/Project Management Specialist. Responsible for delivering our client's jobs on budget, on time and with the highest level of service. You will work with directly with the client and their Agency to manage all of the activities related to high-profile Rewards credentials and statement processing and fulfillment programs (dp/print/mailing services).
You must excel at sourcing, procurement and project management. Position is the liaison between the customer, account management and supplier and ensures that all parties have the crucial information necessary to accomplish jobs flawlessly.
General Duties and Qualifications
Coordinate production schedules, print specifications, lettershop instructions, quotes/budgets and billing for Loyalty program.
Understand technical supplier capabilities & select appropriate vendors; negotiate pricing; & develop schedules. Relies on professional experience and judgment to prioritize, plan and accomplish goals.
Strong project management and financial analytic skills are a must. Strategic thinker – understands the interconnectivity between systems, events and marketing goals and implements accordingly. Detailed planning experience and proven ability to thoroughly implement action-plans.
Specific Responsibilities
?Gather and analyze preliminary specifications from account management and client to insure that all specifications, quality expectations, art availability, required delivery dates, and budgeted savings are clearly identified.
? Investigate potential suppliers and recommend those most desirable based on knowledge of manufacturing processes, supplier facilities, and schedule availability.
? Initiate job process efficiencies that will improve work flow
? Seek production and vendor solutions to save the customer money
? Maintain accurate price quotation data in proprietary order management system for all projects/vendors quoted. Generate formal quote for client acceptance. Generate purchase orders. Reconcile bills from suppliers with PO's, and approve vendor bills for payment in a timely manner. Prepare and submit Client invoices.
? Manage all aspects of production with vendors, conferring with vendors concerning delivery timetables, and maintaining a current status of assigned projects at all times
? Resolve issues when unforeseen conditions delay or alter schedules
Beneficial Experience and Success Characteristics
? Minimum 7-10 years print Production and Project Management Experience
? Creative agency exposure/experience dealing with clients, account team and suppliers
? College degree required
? Experience working with suppliers to negotiate job cost and schedules
?Proven “take charge” performer who is effective at multi-tasking
? Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong ability for personal interaction
? Strong Microsoft Word and Excel computer skills; Graphics programs a +
? Ability to analyze job revenue, costs, profitability and client savings
? Demonstrates strong organizational skills and is detail oriented
