MARKETING MANAGER – DEMAND GENERATION PROGRAMS

OpenSpan is seeking an experienced individual capable of executing and managing demand generation programs.

Responsibilities include:

    * Manage day-to-day operations of demand generation programs to include industry conferences, seminars, webinars, e-mail campaigns and other related programs
    * Collaborate with marketing, product marketing and product management teams and assist as necessary on creation of program deliverables
    * Tracking and reporting of key lead metrics; make recommendations for improving future demand generation campaigns
    * Work closely with sales organization to further define and improve lead qualification and follow-up processes
    * Assist on other key marketing initiatives as necessary
    * Manage to defined marketing budget
    * This is a highly visible position in a rapidly growing software company

Note that travel of approximately 20% should be anticipated, including some international travel.

Required Skills and Experience:

    * Minimum 2-3 years of marketing experience for a technology company; preferably within the software industry
    * Experience with CRM applications (salesforce.com preferred) and/or marketing automation solutions.
    * Must have excellent written and verbal/presentation communication skills.
    * Strong analytical skills required
    * Strong project management skills; enthusiasm and energy to ensure projects are completed effectively and in a timely manner
    * Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment
    * Must be able to juggle multiple tasks and function well under pressure
