Position:
We are seeking a self-starting, over-achieving technology and business-aware enterprise sales professional ? this role is critical to our aggressive growth strategy. As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will be responsible for all business and sales activities in your sales region. You will be focused on driving new business wins working with OpenSpan?s marketing, lead generation and technical services teams. You will implement a territory execution plan to proactively research, campaign and prospect named target enterprise companies in your sales region - driving revenue that meets and exceeds your territory objectives. The Enterprise Account Manager will report to the Vice President, North America Sales.
Personal Attributes and Skill Set:
High-energy sales professional with 8 years (minimum) successful enterprise-level sales experience
SELF-STARTING, DISCIPLINED and PERSISTENT personal style with an innate sense of urgency
Strong intellect with a natural curiosity about business problems and process efficiencies
Focused and process-oriented approach to identifying and qualifying opportunities in complex, multi-constituent enterprise environments (Fortune 500 sales experience required)
Proven ability to drive and execute full life-cycle sales campaigns to closure in targeted enterprise companies
Experience negotiating and closing enterprise-level software license agreements
Proven ability to capture new enterprise customers and build company brand equity (early stage business experience required)
Strong technical acumen with proven ability to present and sell complex information technology products in a solution context, explicitly linking IT and business value (application development platform, BPM/workflow, enterprise SOA or related software sales experience is required)
Contact center and financial/banking industry experience highly desirable
Transparent and accountable operating style (Salesforce.com and Strategic Selling proficiency highly desirable)
Successful track record of working remotely as a member of a distributed sales team
Willingness and desire to travel as necessary in support of individual sales activities and team success
Exemplary interpersonal communication and presentation skills
BS/BA required
