Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, helps put the power of cable to use for local, regional and national advertisers. It is focused on moving the industry forward in advanced technologies and innovative products to reach audiences most effectively and efficiently. Advertising Sales
Coordinates traffic and schedules and develops daily advertising log for commercial insertion. Position reports to Traffic Manager-Southern Region, Atlanta and provides assistance to Ad Sales Executives as required.
Train, direct, review and motivate the traffic coordinators.
Oversee and insure that all daily assignments of traffic coordinators are handled daily. Work directly with sales team to ensure that all issues or problems are resolved in a timely manner.
Responsible for supervision of traffic coordinators.
Responsible for being able to handle each traffic coordinators position when employees are out of the office.
Responsible for insuring all deadlines of the traffic department are met daily by traffic and sales staff.
Responsible for tracking down and communicating with the technical staff, Traffic Manager, and Sales Managers.
Responsible for monitoring all zones for issues or problems with spots not clearing. Responsible for monitoring run rates weekly.
Responsible for one-on-one meetings with traffic staff monthly.
Responsible for insuring changes from networks are updated.
Interface with ad sales, production, accounting, engineers, and advertising firms. Perform special projects or any other traffic duties when needed.
Insure that all clients and orders are billing the maximized dollars possible.
Required Skills:
Experience:
Two years supervisory experience
Four years traffic experience including experience in a customer service setting
Experience in a Media industry
Education:
High school or equivalent
B.S. in Business or related field preferred.

Media Traffic software knowledge

Working knowledge of traffic and billing systems and related functions and terms
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks
