    Current Need
    The Data Integrity and Compliance Analyst is an individual with quality/control assurance experience who can analyze data, processes and procedures, and policies and report on compliance and non-compliance, identify root cause and corrective actions that relate to contract (data rights/data use) obligations, regulatory guidelines that include privacy and security reviews, and certification programs that involve de-identified data.
    Position Description
    This individual reports to the Chief Privacy and Data Security Officer and will complete analyses, reviews, and assessments as to compliance with general and specific data privacy and security requirements, asset management, and other critical policies and procedures as they relate to the protections of data.

Responsibilities include:
Complete analyses, reviews, and assessments as directed.
Identify policy and procedure gaps.
Identify areas of risk, evaluate controls, and make recommendations for improvements.
Review privacy and security related controls for a wide variety of computing platforms, including operating systems, sub-systems, databases, and software products in various processing environments as they relate to data handling and protection.
Understand and analyze healthcare standard and non-standard transaction formats.
Review adequacy of data validation, processing, and balancing of controls in various applications and systems.
Perform general computer control reviews that include security administration and audit trails, as well as physical and logical security.
Prepare and perform assessment tests and evaluate results.
Accurately document assessments to support and facilitate efficient and effective reviews.
Evaluate observations and prepare applicable reporting documents.
Practice effective planning and organization, complete assignments by established dates.
Provide consulting to functional groups by planning and creating documents for existing and improved processes and procedures.
    Minimum Requirements
    At least 5 years in quality assessments and analyses in critical environments; related experience will be considered.
    Additional Knowledge & Skills
    Excellent management skills and demonstrated field experience working with multiple team members.
Ability to interpret complex standards and policies in the formulation of analysis and assessment criteria.
Ability to present business case in support of proposed projects.
A great attitude with internal and external customers; excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to learn quickly, to work autonomously.
Must be able to travel 25-50% of the time.
Statistical background considered a real plus.
    Education
    Undergraduate degree from an accredited university; master¿s degree level preferred, but will consider related experience and background.
