Security Access Analyst (092809)




BASIC PURPOSE




Administers and monitors user access accounts for technology platforms and application-level security databases in accordance with Bank security policies and standards. 




ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS




Day-to-day administration of user accounts including creation, deletion, modification, resets or extension.




Reviews, verifies, and implements security requests in a timely manner and providing superior customer service. 




Creates and maintains user account setup/modification documentation and related procedures for account management in various systems. 




Produces security access reports in a timely manner for system owners when requested by Information Technology departments or business units.




Assists with security-related projects such as security application upgrades, role-based access control, reduced/single sign-on, and other new security initiatives.




Performs system access reviews to ensure compliance with Bank security policies and standards. 




Prepares security reports to assist business units in reviews of user access within their systems.




Reviews security violation reports and alerts to determine if further action is required.




Participates in security incident reviews consisting of identifying new issues, gathering information, and reporting to appropriate individuals.




Creates queries to extract data as needed for reporting and statistical research. This includes reporting on Service Level Agreements as they pertain to the security area.




Responds to audit and compliance-related requests such as SOX control reviews, Internal Audit requests, and external audits.




Provides direct support to the business and Information Technology staff for systems security related issues and questions.




Educates users in security principles, policy, and practices through daily interaction and security awareness activities.




MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS




A Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, information assurance, or related discipline; two years of experience in administering user accounts in different technology platforms, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. A Information Security certification is preferred.




Must possess good customer service skills.




Strong multi-tasking and analytical/troubleshooting skills.
