Job Description


MDI is currently hiring for a large, high margin financial services firm


located in downtown Atlanta. Our client is a growing financial institution


that uses small bank customer service with a complete financial services


portfolio.


 


Our client is currently in need of an Information Security Analyst to fulfill


a 6 Month contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.


 


This position will support ETRM’s Information Security Officer team. The


position will interface with end users as well as all levels of management,


technical and business contacts. The position is responsible for understanding


business processes and technology used within the assigned area to ensure that


the business is in compliance with the Client Information Security Policy and


applicable procedures, processes and standards.


 


The position is responsible for proactively identifying Internet-based,


distributed and mainframe applications as well as third-parties within a


business area involved in the storing and processing of Client Trust data and


preparing associated Information Security risk assessments. The position


requires information technology knowledge and knowledge of information


security risks in order to perform these risk assessments and assist the


business with identifying potential controls. The position is responsible for


understanding Client Policy, procedures, and standards in order to assist in


interpretation and implementation of same. The position will be required to


provide detailed, high-quality and thorough analyses as well as meaningful


recommendations.

· Ability to evaluate information security controls and identification of


potential risk


· Ability to work in an independent capacity


· Strong time management skills and the ability to work on numerous


projects/activities at the same time

· Strong interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with technical and


business partners


· Ability to effectively communicate with management and peers


· Presentation skills to conduct Information Security Awareness training


sessions


 


Must have 1 of the following:


· Information Security degree with 3 years information security work


experience or


· A combination of 4 years of information technology work experience and 3


years of information security experience.


· Audit experience, CISSP, or CISA certifications are a plus.
