Job Title: Messaging Architect/Exchange/Network Engineer

Job Description:

Industry leader is looking for a Messaging Architect/Exchange Administrator/ Network Engineer to design and implement new collaborative messaging offering. You will work closely with marketing product managers to define service specifications for new messaging products. You will also use off-the-shelf products and custom development to create unique products and develop test plans to support development. Specific service provider experience with large scale email systems (100,000+ mailboxes) is a must .You must have experience working with Microsoft Exchange 2007 and Windows 2003 Server. Other required experience includes: Messaging Technologies, Microsoft Hosted Messaging and Collaboration (HMC), SQL and Blackberry Enterprise Server. To be successful in this environment, you must have experience working for a service provider. This is a 6-month contract to permanent opportunity with excellent benefits!

Required Experience



  • Experience with Microsoft Hosted Messaging and Collaboration (HMC) architecture version 4.5

  • Experience with Microsoft Provisioning System (MPS)

  • Experience with iSCSI storage based systems in particular EqualLogic

  • Messaging protocols such as MAPI, IMAP and POP

  • Experience with MTA layer products like Ironport

  • Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) experience

  • Specific experience implementing large-scale Exchange 2007 solutions

  • VoIP standards including MGCP, SIP and RTP

  • Extensive knowledge of messaging services and related technology, including Microsoft Exchange 2007, Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft SQL, Standard POP and IMAP e-mail, Storage, DNS, and Server Load Balancers.

  • Detailed knowledge of Windows Server operating system as well as a functional knowledge of UNIX and LINUX

  • Configuration of Cisco IOS-based equipment

  • IBM Blade server experience

  • Network protocols and methods including Ethernet switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, etc.

  • BS in Engineering or Computer Science (preferred)

  • MSCE (required)

  • MSCE: Messaging (preferred)
