Overview:

Under general direction, independently develops, modifies, and implements moderately to highly complex information systems that are thorough and accurate and conform to MST standards. Translates customer requirements, recommending system solutions and formulating detailed specifications from which programs are written. Independently researches and resolves more complex technical problems. A top level technical contributor in one or more highly specialized phases of application system analysis and programming with strong business application knowledge. May serve as primary system support for two or more complex information systems based on in-depth system knowledge. May serve in the MST Solutions Framework roles of Development Lead, Project Manager, Testing Advocate, or Operations Advocate.

Key Accountabilities:

Candidate should have 4+ years of successful work experience as a Development Lead, or Developer or Database Developer within a software development organization, driving development direction, planning and execution for implementing complex large and deployments. Candidate will serve as a Developer, with focus on developing, enhancing and integrating a workflow solution. Candidate is also be responsible for analyzing performance and applying performance improvements. In addition, data migration from operational data structures to a reporting data structure for use with SSRS will be required. This includes the development, design specifications, and implementation of all SQL needed to extract, transform and load data. In addition, development and support of some reporting is required using SQL Server Reporting Services. Candidate will have an ability to coordinate with multiple project teams, across multiple departments. Candidate displays solid leadership qualities and takes ownership of all development related issues.

Skills Summary:

    * Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience required.
    * Understanding of client-server technologies (Microsoft preferred).
    * 4-6+ years of experience with .Net 2.0, C# and ASP.Net. Strong background using Object Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts.
    * 4-6+ years of experience with SQL Server (2000 and 2005).
    * Experience with Microsoft reporting tools and cubes preferred.
    * Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML and source control tools.
    * Comprehensive experience with and a very strong understanding of web technologies and ASP.Net / Internet Information Services Manager (IIS) required.
    * Experience with SQL data modeling & design with strong RDBMS concepts. Experience with writing and deconstructing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
    * Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
    * Experience in working with Business Process Management Systems or Workflow Management Systems is a plus.
    * Strong negotiation, problem solving skills and ability to multitask.
    * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    * Identify major developmental or design risks and action plans.
    * Ability to interface with the client, management and diverse support teams.
    * Supports the technical specification development schedule.
    * Knowledgeable about development standards and processes.
    * Helps define the support process.
