Who we are looking for:

The Lead .NET Developer will be a motivated and highly effective IT professional, who will be responsible for leading a team of programmers developing and maintaining applications for the company’s e-retailing website and internal enterprise applications. The lead will be hands on in coding and managing an agile team, building and supporting website applications.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

·         Provide technical expertise, direction, and assistance to a software development team specifically in Microsoft .NET technology.
·         Take technical ownership of specific website applications and functionality providing continuous oversight and optimization.
·         Develop applications using C#.NET, ASP.NET, Javascript, HTML, SQL Server 2005, Transact-SQL, and SSIS.
·         Develop code in a clean and consistent manner with proper supporting documentation and best practices.
·         Work directly and heading the development team to ensure excellent code, standards and design in accordance with BMB lifecycle.
·         Accurately estimate project timelines and meet scheduled milestones.
·         Provide leadership in solving day-to-day operational issues.
·         Provide project management to solve day-to-day operational issues. 
 

 
Position Requirements:

·         Proven ability to lead a development team in meeting development objectives in an effective and timely way.
·         BS Degree in Computer Science or related field.
·         2+ years managing and project management experience.
·         5+ years of development experience, with a minimum of 3 years programming in the .NET environment; Experience building and maintaining a B2C or Ecommerce website required
·         A complete understanding of Microsoft technologies:
o  C#.NET
o  ASP.NET
o  Microsoft SQL Server 2005
·         Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, and works well in a team environment.
·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
·         Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
