Essential Job Functions:

    * Create, modify, maintain, document, and test software component(s).
    * Use analysis and design skills, define and write software specifications for a particular component(s) (design specs and functional specs).
    * Estimate tasks, efforts, and resource requirements for assigned components and work with project manager in setting appropriate schedule, task, and quality guidelines of the project.
    * Utilize the development methodology, tools, techniques, and configuration management standard to the department.
    * As needed, Assist senior team members with complex duties (Analysis, Design, and Test) to gain exposure to more advanced software development tasks.
    * Regularly serve as a technical resource for others within the organization that needs your understanding and expertise
    * Assist more junior level team members.
    * Contribute to and conduct technical reviews (Design Reviews, Code Reviews) within the organization.
    * Provide regular status and progress towards milestones.

Required Skills
    * Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field, or experience commensurate with four-year college degree.
    * Two or more years experience in a software development role demonstrating the ability to perform application systems analysis and proficiency in relevant development language(s) to complete moderate coding assignments within the agreed upon timeframe. Experience required in: C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL SERVER, VISUAL STUDIO
    * Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
    * Understanding of business application or product being developed.
    * Responsible for defining software specifications (functional, design, etc.) in addition to coding responsibilities.
    * Effective oral and written communication.
    * Detailed knowledge and understanding of multiple technologies and platforms.
    * Ability to function and contribute in a team environment.
    * Strong design/coding skills.
    * Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques.
    * Good time management.
    * Basic project management skills.
    * Ability to prepare resource and time estimates with a high degree of reliability.
