We're seeking a senior level PHP/MySQL developer to scope out and lead the development of a new cutting-edge digital marketing application. Position Overview



  • Develop commercial-grade applications utilizing technologies such as PHP, Perl, shell scripting, XHTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, and MySQL.

  • Research and understand technology and security related issues to provide technical guidance in developing applications.

  • Provide written design documents, test plans and test results.

  • Integrate and implement related application components, including front-end development, server-side development and database integration.

  • Play a key role in architecting, programming and management of business-critical applications.

  • Create technical documentation as required

  • Maintain quality assurance standards


Requirements



  • 5-7 years of enterprise Software Development Experience

  • 3 years PHP/MySQL experience

  • 2 years AJAX and XML experience

  • Strong foundation in Perl, Apache & Unix/Linux

  • Proficient in benchmarking, profiling, debugging, CVS

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and problem-solving skills

  • Independent, self motivated, and driven

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and complete project tasks on time

  • Research, present and implement in an articulate and professional manner


Education & Experience



  • BA, BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or similar area preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet challenging deadlines

  • Professional demeanor with strong work ethic

  • Highly responsible, dependable and keen attention to detail

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

  • Strong understanding of Web-based UI applications
