The Windows Services Technical Analyst provides design, planning, technical support and administration for the Windows server platform, including software and hardware in both Data Center and remote locations.

Duties and Responsibilities

·          Management and configuration of Windows Server hardware and software, including Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange Server, SQL server, and other applications
·          Design, Implementation and deployment of new software packages
·          Execution of enterprise and location focused initiatives
·          Support of the Windows Services Administrators in routine support and administration tasks
·          Monitoring of existing hardware and software, including backup processes
·          After-hours support and implementation as needed
 
Required Skills:
·          Large Enterprise  and Data Center experience (100+ servers/virtual machines)
·          Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, messaging and communication architectures. Experience with large scale implementations
·          Strong design disposition and systems management skill Knowledge of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager
·          Perspective and experience with automation
·          Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, including detailed knowledge of the Windows registry, Active Directory, and networking in a Windows environment
·          Strong aptitude for problem-solving and the ability to resolve complex issues while retaining a strong customer service focus
·          Team player with the ability to adjust to disparate personalities and work well within a diverse organization.
·          Time management skills and the ability to handle multiple high priority tasks simultaneously.
·          Strong verbal and written communication skills.
·          A minimum of five years technology experience
·          A minimum of three years experience in Windows server management or administration
·          A minimum of three years experience managing Microsoft Exchange 2003 or greater
·          A minimum of two years experience with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager
·          Experience with CommVault, Windows PowerShell, VMWare is highly preferred
·          Process experience with ITIL and SCRUM
·          Bachelor’s degree preferred
·          Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or MCITP: Enterprise Administrator required
