Front-line leader and supervisor of projects or iterative maintenance work efforts – owning a effort and driving it to effective and efficient completion. This position has a very active and visible role in scoping, managing and implementing software efforts.
- Delivery of projects to meet or exceed client quality objectives
- Developing project plans and work estimates
- Functioning as the day-to-day leader of a project (or sub-project) and guiding the team in the following areas:
- Project assignments
- Customer interaction and relationships
- Progress and schedule monitoring and reporting
- Recognition and resolution of project issues
- Identification of business development opportunities
- “Front-line” supervision of project activities, providing day-to-day performance feedback to team members and contributing to the performance appraisal process.
- Adherence to SOX compliance and product development life cycle mandates
Administrative Management
- Manage direct hire resource in a multi-vendor organization
- Maximize capabilities of each resource and the team as a whole thru continuous improvement
Ability to operate in a matrixed environment where administrative reports might be assigned to work on assignments of another manager or vice versa.
