Job Title: Immediate Need for a Telecom Project Manager

Job Description:

Your experience in telecommunications network engineering, circuit path and design, as well as your expertise dealing with customers are keys to success. You will be responsible for the testing and turn-up of T1's and DS3's as well as full scale implementation. Responsibilities include providing detailed project & client knowledge to executive team, and working with Design and Provisioning Managers to deliver results for the customer. 

Must be highly skilled in conflict resolution, managing client relationships and meticulous management of Telecom projects. Responsibilities will also include planning and documentation for multiple projects including New Site Builds, UMTS Growth, GSM and UMTS (Micro, Macro, Femto Cell, and DNB). This PM will work on end to end transport related activities. Must be self sufficient and able to drive this project from end to end; transport reconfiguration at cell site, MTSO, RNC, and wireline side. 

This is a high visibility national position, working in an executive rich environment. Strong end to end PM for all aspects of Transport networks and knowledge and understanding/experience with running an Ethernet to cell site project.

Required Experience



  • Project Management: 5+ years of Project Management/Telecom network & circuit installations

  • Experience coordinating teams of circuit designers, & provisioning engineers

  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects

  • Proven Telecom network circuit path and design/provisioning exp. Deep understanding of RAN and non-RAN networks

  • Proven track record with full scale implementation of UMTS Projects in excess of 100 sites

  • Must have external client experience and ability to manage client relationships and communicate to mid-level executives

  • Ability to address all requests including expedites, status reporting, management of project plans and schedules

  • Intimate knowledge of LEC provisioning systems and escalation processes

  • Wireless: Knowledge of UMTS, Node B

  • Ability to complete complex network designs for both GSM and UMTS wireless technologies

  • Knowledge of LEC circuit information systems and escalation processes

  • Testing and turn-up of T1's and DS3's

  • Strong Excel user

  • Analytical thinker
